Last afternoon of Hawaii and flight out.

After walking around Waikiki beach for the afternoon trying to waste time for my later flight. Went back to my hotel. Got my bag that I had left with the bellman . Waited for the shuttle to take me back to the airport.Bus came and the bellman had told me the name of the shuttle however got on the wrong bus.(my driver was running late). Then the doorman came on the bus and told to get on the other shuttle behind the original bus.Turned out OK . Met some nice folks from Kentucky that were uplifting. However I thought they were doing there in laws a tremendous favor by stopping in a layover in Houston for one reason . So they could have a cigarette. Got too the airport on time . Have to scan your suitcases in Hawaii for agriculture. Did that got some fast food at Burger king at the airport. When I was boarding the flight obnoxious guy was intoxicated. later before we took off he was escorted off the flight by the flight crew. Guess it's not a good idea to drink before flying. Had a nice couple from Alabama sitting next to me. They were nervous about making there connection because it was very close . There was something mechanically wrong on the flight and the mechanics had to fix it so we took off 40 minutes late. However there connecting flight was the same airline. When we got to Los Angeles they held there flight going to Memphis.

apparently there were about 30 people on are flight. All in all great trip was my second time in Waikiki and enjoy it. Have to work on getting my passport to see some new places.

last day.

Day eight just woke up packed my bags. Checked my bag with the front desk. (My flight is not till 10:10 Hawaii time. Will be landing in Los Angeles around 6:20 am Tues. Morning. Went to lunch at Chili’s and took the bus to the Ala moana center. Walked around there for around 45 – minutes to about an hour and then took the bus back to Waikiki. Hung around the park by the zoo for about a half hour. (I have some time to kill). Then came over to Starbucks where I am presently. Writing my blog on Word. Which I will transfer too my Blog site. Haven’t done that should be interesting. Anyway will write more later.

Getting down to the wire.

yea vacation time is coming too a end. Had a great time in Honolulu this week and met a few nice folks. However looking forward to getting back to Calif. Today got up fairly early . Had breakfast at Burger King at Kings village. Went back to my hotel room got my camera started snapping pics. Getting tired of walking around though(didn't rent a car ) . And just about ready too take the bus around town.Had lunch at Subway had a nice Iced coffee at Starbucks.thought about going swimming however got sunburned yesterday and think it 's better to stay out of the sun. May go out for a few cocktails. Haven't done that yet. Will keep you posted.

day six.

Got up fairly early . However sleeping later and later. Oh well it's the weekend. Went to IHOP in Waikiki by my hotel. Then felt like doing something different. So packed up my beach bag and got on the bus. Met a really cool girl from Cuba on the bus. Started talking to her asking her stupid tourist questions.(now i no why the islanders aren't so friendly).However she was really cool. She told me where to get off.Got off the bus at Sandy beach and went swimming and layed out.Water was crystal blue and really nice .Unfortunataly it was really a bad current and couldn't go out to far with out being pulled out to sea.Got back on the bus and who do I see the girl from Cuba. Actually she grew up in Miami and only has lived in Hawaii for about a month.She told me of a good restaurant to go to once i showered . Then went for a Burrito for around 27 $ with a virgin Pina Colada of course.had my camera with me took some pictures then went back to my hotel. Went out again took some more pics. (night pics) and here I am.

day five.

Got up super early and walked down to the local Denny's . much better then the previous day's breakfast. Had the original Grand Slam . However not the original Grand slam price. That's ok on Vacation.Then walked down to the beach again great for people watching. Unlike any American city I have been too. Very euro- asian feel ,cool place. People are ok not exceptional nice but ok.
For lunch had Mcdonald's the new southern chicken sandwich with a side of pineapples of course.In the restaurants in Waikiki the birds are pretty brazen and come right into the restaurant. (i heard there horrible tippers) they leave squat. ha-ha . no seriously the employee came out and clapped her hands and it left. Simple thing but don't see that too much stateside. Then i took a nap and the maid came late. walked around a little more and now i am getting blisters from walking so much. Taking it easy now and blogging may go out later.

day four in faboulous Waikiki Beach.

Today was more then likely the most uneventful day in Hawaii. Woke up early cloudy sky's all day it's now 5pm Hawaiian time and still cloudy. Anyway had a 2.99 breakfast and now i no why it's not always good to be cheap. The food tasted like it was 2.99 . after that just took a walk for about a mile or two. (which has been the case since i arrived here). Probably walked about 20 miles already. Just hung around my hotel today and may go for a walk soon maybe take a few pictures. Anyway that's all for now.

3rd day in Hawaii.

Well once again got up early. Checked out the local starbucks and read the Honolulu paper. Had breakfast at the local Mcdonald's then took the bus to a remote part of island by Accident. The bus driver told me the stop but she never told me so we got on the Highway and ended up in Kane'ohe. Then checked out the mall breifly and waited for the bus for about a half hour to go back the other way. Ended up in Chinatown in Honolulu then took the express bus back to Waikiki . Finally made it to the beach and went swimming for a hour or so. Just had dinner at Round Table pizza by my hotel now just blogging . here's a pic.

too Waikikibeach on Mon. My flight in Los Angeles was delayed for about a hour and 20 minutes. However they made up for it on the plane ( they gave me a free movie on the Plane).Won't mention the Airline however the flight went well and had a good conversation with a couple from Wyoming. Took the shuttle to my hotel . Unpacked my luggage and went for walk down the Waikiki beach boardwalk. Found a great little low key restaurant called the great american cheeseburger. Had a great attentive waiter and the food was ok. Gave me a pineapple for a garnish which was kind of neat. They Don't do that in Calif . Then went to bed early.Woke up today watched the sun come up over my hotel. Then explored my surroundings.
